Hands up if you’ve ever tried to manifest something in your life... and ended up super frustrated when you didn’t see results? If that’s you, you’re not alone. So many people struggle with manifestation. Some even turn their backs on this technique altogether, thinking it "doesn’t work". But today’s podcast guest, Lacy Phillips, is here to turn that belief around. In fact, she’s here to turn everything you thought you knew about manifestation on its head. And in the process, she’s going to share her unique and reliable formula for calling in your soul’s deepest desires and making them your reality.

Lacy Phillips is a Manifestation Advisor specializing in unblocking beliefs of unworthiness and aligning with what you truly desire. Her unique manifestation process, The Formula by Lacy Phillips™, combines both psychology and neuroplasticity to help people create new neural pathways for deep subconscious beliefs.

The difference between Lacy's approach to manifesting and the usual stock-standard technique is like chalk and (activated cashew) cheese. Instead of the usual edicts to “think positive and visualize!", Lacy is all about helping you connect back with your authentic self and dismantle the societal programming, labels, and molds that don't align with your true nature. (And spoiler alert: it’s these extra steps that turbocharge your manifesting and turn you into a magnet for your desires.)

So if you want to rewire your limiting beliefs, manifest *exactly* what you want, and create abundance in all areas of your life, stop wasting time and pop in those earbuds! What you dream of is only one episode away…

In this episode we chat about:

  • Her intuitive eating practice (05:06)
  • How she went from being a broke model and actress to becoming a Manifesting Advisor (06:06)
  • The *exact* process to manifest anything you want (these 3 steps can literally change your life) (12:18)
  • My 3 step manifesting process (21:16)
  • What is human design? (24:49)
  • The difference between specific and non-specific manifestation (25:49)
  • The crazy things people have manifested using her technique (this part is so much fun to listen to!) (30:13)
  • Having trouble manifesting? Here’s why you’re not getting what you want yet (33:57)
  • The art of surrender (and why it’s the missing link in your manifesting process) (38:48)
  • The power of visualising and collecting evidence in your manifestation process (42:17)
  • What Lacy has recently manifested in her life (47:15)
  • How to manifest and still stay present (49:23)
  • The 3 books everyone should read (57:56)
  • Plus so much more!

I really enjoyed this podcast, and found some useful take aways within it (particularly regarding self-worth) as well as a few pretty problematic moments which seemed to ignore the question of (white) privilege amidst the desire to 'manifest' things.

As someone who works at with a great deal of marginalized, incarcerated, intellectually handicapped and (predominantly non-white) individuals, I wonder if claiming that 'anything you want' can be manifested is such a helpful conversation to have, or if, perhaps, it's adding to feelings of inadequacy for many?

I've seen so many individuals who are remarkable and intelligent (yet faced with conditions like cerebral palsy or long-term cognitive challenges) struggle to come to terms with the fact that they likely won't become wealthy or 'prosperous' in conventional terms. Similarly, I've seen many in their 50s face radical unemployment and redundancy in a culture where things like digital literacy are huge stumbling blocks to prosperity, and self-acceptance is difficult.

I feel strongly that many individuals cannot easily manifest a 'dream career' or a 3-hour work day if, for example, they are individuals of color, or handicapped, born into a prison system. Whilst its useful to name this as desirable, i would have loved to unpack more the systemic reasons which working 3 days is well beyond the reach of most people who are not self-employed.

I'd love to ask a few strategic questions here, to really deepen the conversation, starting with the following:

      a) what do you mean by 'manifesting' - its never defined in this podcast, and remains a little nebulous.

      b) what is meant by 'the universe' - its a term mentioned a lot, but again i'd love a working definition.

      c) can we talk about inter-dependence and moral responsibility in the light of the notion of 'manifesting'? I feel like this is a really crucial topic, particularly given that we operate and exist in community with one another - and any assumption that you can have 'anything you want' inevitably has consequences for others?

What does the 'universe' say if, for example, my wealth and prosperity come at the cost of requiring many others to prop up and support it? I think these are helpful questions to ask...

Hey Rick, I'm so glad to hear that you enjoyed this episode. Thank you for your insights and questions too. I asked Lacy and she said “We do define Manifestation in our glossary as: Calling in and receiving whatever it is that you want in life. We manifest from our deep-rooted subconscious beliefs, as the universe’s entire intention is for us to grow into our most whole, worthy, authentic selves."

As for the rest of the questions, Lacy said she can answer these questions here. I hope you continue enjoying the show. xx

I absolutely LOVED this episode! I am going to listen again for sure. The convo was so engaging and just made me realise how simple manifestation is really, self worth and moving through those blocks with the most compassion and kindness. I am so excited to have found Lacy! Thank you for such an amazing show.

I've always been such a believer in the Law of Attraction, and I'm just now really diving into manifestation. I am a goal digger. This got me SO excited! ...and fascinated. I will listen to this again and will share it with my tribe. Thank you for this!!

I am absolutely loving this! I have had so many 'aha' moments. What resonated with me most was talking about blocks and hypnosis. The example that Lacy gives about having a good family upbringing with no issues yet still having blocks about relationships is where I feel I am at. And something I have been working on. Some would describe it as typical "daddy issues" without actually having daddy issues. I was wondering if you you had any recommendations for hypnotherapists in Sydney??
Thank you for taking the time to read this. And keep on being your fabulous self, constantly inspiring those around you. You have helped me in so many ways.

      Love Tash xx

Thank you so much beautiful Tash for your kind words and comment and I'm so glad you loved this episode. I don't know anyone in Sydney, but make sure you check out my two hypnosis podcasts with Grace Smith and Marisa Peer. You will LOVE them. xx
