“Be present with your Lover” Aint that the truth! James is so gorgeous. Loved his tips.
I listen to all your podcasts Melissa, thank you for your great questions as well xxx
I love the concept of “action-meetings”. I always have the feeling that I am waisting so much precious time is some work meetings.
“Be present with your Lover”, YES! HELL YES! It is so sad to see couples at the restaurant both staring on their smartphones and not interacting together…
“Being prospective”! We are so caught in our own “life drama” that we forget how blessed we are to live the life we have. We have to be more grateful for the people and things we have in our lives.
I absolutely loved listening to this interview Melissa, and this particular episode has been my favourite one from your show to date (although I love them all!!!) I thought you covered such a range of very valuable content within the interview and guided the interview with great questions to move James to share a variety of information, (from insights and knowledge, to personal experiences, business developments and visions for the future). I also thought that James was an incredible interview subject, and a great source of information for you to share with us, as he has such a wealth of experience and passion, and he communicates his stories in such a personable and relatable way. I feel as if I have gained so much in such a short amount of time today, and am totally inspired to seek out more information into the areas of food and health and also into my own developments within my personal world and business world. Thank you for this gift of empowerment and of life today. I am very grateful.
This episode blew my socks off (as you would say Mel).
I am going to play it again. Its given me a new sense of direction, inspiration and I loved every minute of it! Keep up the good work of inspiring others! Your podcasts are epic!
Hi Melissa,
I just wanted to reach out and share that I’ve been listening to your podcast from the beginning over the past couple of weeks, and this episode has been so so SO valuable for me! James’ passion and vision, combined with his totally down-to-earth perspective, has left me feeling inspired and empowered to make the dreams I hold tightly wrapped in a bud within me, to blossom. So, thank you.
Thanks Mel. Enjoyed listening to James’ inspiration.
Hi Melissa,
I have recently hit a crossroads in my life at 30 years old and am trying to find what makes me tick, as a chronic people pleaser this is a challenge! I have tried to sort my health out so many times but never really found what is right for me, just what others are telling me, which inevitably does not work for my long term mission.
I have recently started listening to your podcasts from the start and I just listened to this episode with James. Thank you for helping me sort through all the noise in the world on how to live my best life and give me solid opinions from so many sources so that I can navigate finding what is best for me! I loved this episode, he is such a beautiful soul that I could relate to so much.
You ask all the questions that I need the answers to and are becoming such a role model for me in finding what makes me healthy and happy in work, love and the rest of my life.
Thank you again!
Bre
You’re so welcome Bre and thank you SO MUCH for your kind words. I am just so glad it deeply resonates. What were your top 3 key takeaways from this podcast?
Wow, you replied! Thank you so much, you must be very busy. I have a little notebook next to me at my desk as I listen and I wrote down today:
– Don’t take sh*t home with you
– Disconnect from the micros distractions and BE PRESENT
– Get perspective (something I always try to do but is very hard)
– Drink more water
– Do something that cleanses you each day. It sounded to me like James does whatever he is feeling that day and doesn’t stick to a strict schedule which really appeals to me as I seem to fail if I put too strict rules around myself
– Bring a smile to the sh*t! I try so hard with this usually but have lost it at the moment and it was a great reminder!
Thank you again!
Love love love it Bre. Keep up the awesome work. xx
