    What an incredible interview! I have been on such a journey to heal PCOS for 20+ years and this all makes so much sense to me. Thank you thank you thank you so much for all this amazing information. I can’t wait to share this with my daughter (11) who will hopefully have a much better experience of understanding her cycle, embracing being a woman, knowing what to do during the different phases rather than feeling helpless and scared of her cycle like most of us. Every single woman on the planet needs to get this great info! Thanks Melissa

    AH-maxing! You know when you have moments in your life that the lightbulb just shines that bright that it is hard to ignore? Listening to this episode was one of them. To really understand ourselves and get in tune with our body, this is where to start.
    I was raised in a family where Menstruation was a taboo. Even to ask for new pads was unspoken, they were just written on the shopping list. Schools didn’t talk about it, friends didn’t talk about it and boys teased you for it. It was hard to understand hormones and feeling very overwhelmed during my cycle for majority of my life due to a lack of education.
    And then this! The education I just got from this episode and information has left me wanting more. Just brilliant. Thank you.

    This was such an inspiring listen! And at the exact time I needed it. I’ve been on the pill for WAY too long. I was put on it at 14 to help with painful periods. Now I’ve been contemplating going off the pill, but I was a bit scared. Now I’m getting both of these books and diving in! Especially because I’ve been using intermittent fasting sort of in preparation to go off the pill and get my period back, thinking it’s balancing my hormones. Excited to learn even more about my new journey!!

    • Hey Brandy, read her books as they will be super supportive for coming off the people, but please be careful with intermitted fasting as that can take some women’s hormones out of balance so be mindful of that. xx
