Hey beautiful. Welcome back to the show. I’m so excited about this episode because I love talking about energy and I’m going to be sharing with you ways that you [00:01:00] can declutter your energy. But I have a question for you to kick off. Have you been feeling a bit overwhelmed or bogged down lately and can’t seem to figure out why?

And it might not be your pap schedule that’s causing that weighing down feeling. It could be because your personal energy field is getting cluttered. So this is the ultimate guide to decluttering your energy. So I want you to think of your energy field like a closet. Now, over time, it can become cluttered with all sorts of unwanted items like negative thoughts.

past experiences, and even the lingering energy of others. Now, this clutter doesn’t just take up space and bandwidth inside you. It also weighs you down much like a deorganized and overflowing wardrobe. We all know what that feels like, right? But here’s the cool part. You can spring clean [00:02:00] your energy field so that you’ve got a beautiful, fresh, clean, energetic slate to work with.

Now, once you clear this inner clutter, life begins to flow with so much more ease. Relationships thrive, you’re more aligned with your goals, your well being improves, and your manifesting powers will seriously kick into overdrive. I am not joking you. So, I want to share with you seven steps to energetically declutter, okay?

So without further ado, let’s dive in to the seven steps to energetic decluttering, okay? You might want to write these down if you can, if you’re driving, all good, you can come back and re listen whenever you want. So the first one is, identify what is weighing you down. Now the first thing you need to do when you’re cleaning up your energy is to figure out what What should be cleared away?

Now, this might be negative [00:03:00] ways of thinking or old beliefs that do not serve you or even leftover vibes from people who are no longer part of your life. So I want you to take a moment now. You can even pause this if you want to. And I want you to think about what’s on your mind a lot right now. Like, do you keep coming back to a certain thought or belief that brings you down or drains your energy?

What worries or frustrations or resentments take up most of your time? Are there thoughts? Are these thoughts helpful or are they just like old clutter that need to be thrown out? What is weighing you down right now in your life? Is it a story you keep telling yourself over and over again? Get clear on that.

This is the first place to start because Awareness is always key to inner transformation. We want to transform something, we have to shine light on it. First, we have to become aware of it. This is the first step. So [00:04:00] identify what is weighing you down, my friends. Okay? The second step is I want you to journal it out.

Yes? Now, journaling is so powerful because it is a form of self therapy and it’s free. You don’t have to pay a lot of money to go see a therapist. Now, one of the most powerful and effective ways to release energetic clutter and find clarity is through journaling. When I identify something that I want to release, I’ll either free write about it in my journal and just see what comes up, or I’ll ask myself a series of specific questions and write out my answers.

So here’s my questions that I ask. And you can borrow them, take them, journal about them, see what comes up. So the first one is, how does this thought or emotion affect my daily life and relationships? That’s the first one. The second one is, if I let go of this thought or emotion, what would I make room for in my life?

The third one [00:05:00] is, what would I say to a friend who was experiencing this same thought or feeling? What would you say to a friend or a client? How Number four, what will my life look like in a year if I continue to hold on to this clutter? Oh, imagine how heavy that is. Number five, what are three steps that I can take right now to release what’s weighing me down?

Write the answer to those questions. You will be amazed at the wisdom that can flow through you if you are only willing to allow it. I’m a huge fan of journaling. And this is so powerful to answer these questions when you want to declutter your energy. And just a little side note here, one of my favorite journaling prompts that I just do every day is I start with I feel, and then I just let it rip.

And sometimes it’s one sentence and sometimes it’s a paragraph and sometimes it’s five pages. But start with I feel. It’s one of the best. Most therapeutic forms of [00:06:00] self therapy that you can do. Start with I feel. Okay. So that is number two, journal it out. Number three is use visualization. Picture your energy field like a room that’s slowly filling with light.

Visualize sweeping out the shadows. That is the negative energy. and making the room lighter and brighter. Like literally visualize yourself sweeping out those shadows out the door. That’s the negative energy. Another technique is to visualize cutting the cords, tethering you to your energetic baggage.

Picture yourself literally like slicing these imaginary cords with a bright, Light filled sword or a pair of scissors, releasing the hold that those outdated energies have on you. I love doing this. You can even do this at the end of one of your meditations, literally visualize cutting those cords. Okay.

And if you want to amp up [00:07:00] the effectiveness of this, after you’ve cleared out the junk, spend a moment reveling in how light, happy, and free you feel. Imagine your whole body glowing with this good, clean feeling, and try to amplify that as much as you can. Now, doing this helps your brain and body to understand what it’s like to have a clear, happy energy field, yeah?

It gets familiar with that feeling. So that is the third one, use visualization. The fourth one is embrace forgiveness to lighten the load. Holding on to past hurts is like sorting boxes full of old, useless stuff and it can be really weighing you down. Embrace forgiveness to lighten the load. Now, holding onto past hurts or anger is like storing boxes full of old, useless stuff.

And it can really weigh you down. To practice forgiveness, try writing down what [00:08:00] you need to forgive and visualize setting those papers on fire, if you want. You can picture the smoke drifting away, taking all of that heaviness with it. And don’t be afraid to seek professional help. Like if you need extra support in this area, I am a huge fan of coaches, therapists, whatever you need, talking to a friend, it doesn’t matter.

But if you need to bounce something off somebody, please do that. Seek extra support, but embrace letting go to lighten your load. When you forgive, you let go. You’re not saying what that person did is right or wrong, that’s a judgment anyway. And we don’t want to judge, we just want to be in our heart space.

And we want to let go and lighten our load, okay? So that’s number four, embracing forgiveness to lighten the load. Number five is setting healthy boundaries. You guys know I am a huge [00:09:00] fan of setting healthy boundaries in every area of your life. I’ve spoken about it so many times on the podcast. I’ve written about it in my books, blog posts, spoken about it on stages.

I talk about it inside SheLaunch. I am a huge fan of healthy boundaries. And I want you to learn to say a gracious but firm no thank you to things that drain your energy. Whether it is declining an invitation, turning down a request, or stepping away from a negative conversation, whatever you have to do, protect your peace, my friend.

You deserve it. Set clear and healthy boundaries in every area of your life. with yourself and with others. Do it in your relationships. Do it with your health. Do it with your business. Do it with your finances. Do it with your phone. Literally go through every area of your life and set a healthy boundary with yourself and with others.

This will protect your peace and [00:10:00] your energy. Okay? So that’s number five, set healthy boundaries. Number six, practice regular energy hygiene. So make energy clearing a part of your daily ritual, much like brushing your teeth. Techniques like meditation, breath work, or even simply going for a walk can act like an energetic shower, washing away that baggage that can build up inside.

Now, even if it’s just a few moments each day, this will make such a big difference. Now one of my favorite ways to cleanse my energy is by taking a dip in the ocean. Oh my, is there anything better? Seriously, so good. There is something so magical about being in the water and surrounded by nature and held by mama nature that just washes away worries and stresses.

Of course, you don’t need the sea to experience this feeling. Like spending time in the park, Watching the clouds or laying on the grass can do wonders as well. But that is my favorite [00:11:00] way. So think about some ways that you love to do energy hygiene and maybe it is like saging or Palo Santo, like I said before, meditation, breath work, movement.

Water, all of those things, nature, they’re some of my favorites. Okay. So that’s number six, practice regular energy hygiene. Number seven, cultivate gratitude to attract positive energy. Now, once you have decluttered the junk out of your life, out of all areas of your life, it’s time to call in the positive energy.

Now, the simplest but most effective way to do that is gratitude, right? When we express and we have a regular gratitude practice, this will turn you into a magnet for more good things to come to you. By focusing on what you’re grateful for, what you’re thankful for, you will naturally attract more positivity into your life.

So you can try keeping a journal, like a gratitude journal, and [00:12:00] spending a few minutes each day writing down what you are grateful for. And the next best option is you could type your gratitude list into the notes app in your phone, or even record a daily voice message to yourself or send it to someone.

Have a little gratitude accountability buddy. And it’s really fun listening back to what you were grateful for in months or years to come. Now, what I do is I have a journal beside my bed. And after I’ve journaled, I feel I will just write down a bunch of things that I’m grateful for in dot point form.

And sometimes there’s five and sometimes there’s 50, you know, I just let it reap. I just keep going until I can’t write any more. And this practice has changed my life. Gratitude raises your energy, raises your vibration. And when you actively express what you are grateful for, the universe recognizes that, and it will give you more things to be grateful for.

That is how it works. So that is number seven, cultivate gratitude to attract positive [00:13:00] energy, yes? So just like. A clean and organized room inspires peace and clarity. A decluttered energy field can transform your life. It’s about letting go of the old, making space for the new, and cultivating practices that keep your energy light, bright, and clear.

So let’s recap. Number one, identify what’s weighing you down. Number two, journal it out. Number three, use visualization. Number four, embrace forgiveness to lighten the load. Number five, set healthy boundaries. Number six, practice regular energy hygiene. And number seven, cultivate gratitude to attract positive energy.

So I want you to start today, even if it’s just with one or two of these things that I’ve mentioned. And watch your outer life begin to mirror the clarity and lightness that you have created from within. People will start asking you, what are you [00:14:00] doing? Because your energy will be lighter and brighter.

And when you say, this is what I’ve been doing, it will inspire them to do that too. And remember, when we work on ourselves, we change the world. When we work on ourselves, we change the world. When we work on ourselves, we change the world. You have full permission to work on yourself. It is your duty. You are a light worker.
