If there’s one thing that motherhood has taught me, it’s the importance of staying organized. Now, I’ve always been an organization enthusiast, but let me tell you, being a mama takes it to a whole new level! With the responsibilities of caring for another precious human being, the days can become a whirlwind that never seems to stop spinning.

In the past few years since my little angel came into the world, I’ve become even more intentional about getting and staying organized. Being organized means having a system in place to efficiently manage your time, responsibilities, and commitments. As a mama, wife, and business owner, I’m wearing multiple hats, and prioritizing organization is the key to preventing overwhelm and stress.

So I want to share my personal toolkit of organization that has been a game-changer for me. Now, before we dive in, I want to clarify that none of the tools I’m about to mention are paid collaborations or sponsored content. These are tools that I genuinely use every day and love.

Slack

First up is Slack, my virtual “office.” It’s like a digital workspace where all our work conversations take place. Gone are the days of loooong email threads! In Slack, conversations are organized into channels, making it easy to keep track of everything. It’s a real game-changer for team communication. You can check out Slack here.

Things

Next on the list is Things, a fantastic task management app. This gem keeps all my to-dos in one place, neatly organized and prioritized. It’s a worthy investment that saves me loads of time and mental energy. Check out the Things app here.

Google Calendar

When it comes to managing my time, I rely on Google Calendar. It’s not just for scheduling appointments; it’s a visual representation of my day, week, and month. I can’t imagine life without it. Take a look at Google Calendar here.

Google Drive

For all my files and documents, I turn to Google Drive, my virtual filing cabinet. It’s a cloud-based solution that allows me to access my files from anywhere. Plus, multiple people can work on documents simultaneously, making collaboration with your team a breeze. Check it out here.

Voxer

When I want to bring back the intimacy of voice messages in this digital age, I turn to Voxer. It’s like a walkie-talkie for the 21st century, and I love using it to stay connected with my loved ones. Take a look at Voxer here.

Paprika

Now, let’s talk about Paprika, my kitchen assistant. This app helps me store, organize, and plan my meals effortlessly. It’s made grocery shopping, meal planning and eating healthy so much easier. Check it out here.

Notebook

And of course, even in this digital age, I still love writing things down (like my daily Time Magic Tasks) in a good old-fashioned notebook. It’s a great way to get my thoughts straight and brainstorm ideas.

The common thread running through all these tools is that they help me offload the mental clutter. Did you know the average person has about 70,000 thoughts per day? That’s a lot of mental noise! These tools serve as external brains, freeing up space in your mind for creativity, peace, and overall well-being.

I’m curious do you use any of these? Or do you have a tool that you could add to this list? I would LOVE to hear your recommendation.

And remember thousands of beautiful souls just like you come here every day and your recommendation might be the one thing that inspires them into action so please share away.
