Have you ever felt called to let go of something you once poured your heart into… even though it feels scary?

In this deeply personal solo episode, I’m spilling the tea on a major decision Nick and I recently made for our family: to sell three of our businesses.

This wasn’t a decision we made lightly (especially because we love these businesses so much). So I’m taking you behind the scenes on the series of events that sparked this pivot, the spiritual principles that helped me move from fear to trust, how we knew it was time to release the old to make space for what’s next, and the six-step process I use to navigate life’s “in between” seasons with more grace and clarity.

This episode is even more real and vulnerable than usual. So if you’re facing a big decision, feeling stuck between the old and the new, or craving inspiration to trust your inner guidance, then press play now… this one’s for you.

In this episode we chat about:

  • The big, bold decision we made to sell three of our businesses (1:43)
  • The real reason behind this life-changing choice (2:23)
  • The powerful Kabbalah teachings that helped me move past fear and into trust (5:25)
  • How I knew it was time to let go (and the signs to look for in your own life) (6:49)
  • Releasing the version of me who built these businesses (and why that’s so important) (9:46)
  • Was I scared of regretting this decision? Here’s the honest truth (11:43)
  • My personal process for closing one chapter and powerfully stepping into the next (12:21)
  • The 6-step method I use to navigate the messy, uncomfortable “in between” seasons with grace (14:20)

Your own life and become the best version of yourself possible. Are you ready? Beautiful. Beautiful.

Hey, beautiful. Welcome back to the show. I’m so excited about this episode because it is very raw, very real, and very close to my heart. Last week on Instagram, I announced that we have sold three of our businesses, which is huge. [00:01:00] Like this is huge. We have worked so hard on She Launch and two of our other businesses, and I shared how Nick recently got meningitis for the second time, and how it’s made us reevaluate how we’re living our life and everything in between.

And so after he got meningitis, he was literally bedridden, completely bedridden for eight days. It was really scary and we made some big decisions after that. And one of those was selling three of our businesses, and she launched being one of those businesses. And when I announced this, I got inundated with questions from you.

And so I wanna answer some of them today. And some of the questions that I got were. How are you navigating this space? This in-between space. How do you trust the unknown? How do you let go of a version of yourself that you have built? How do you know when one chapter is closed? [00:02:00] And how do you trust that the next one will present itself?

And so today I wanna take you behind the scenes into how I’ve made these big decisions, how I process big endings, and how I lean fully into trust. I. And I’ll also share some really powerful principles that have guided me through this huge transition. So just to give a little bit more backstory, for those that didn’t see the Instagram post that I shared now on paper, our business was completely thriving.

We had beautiful dream clients, powerful transformations, and Nick and I were both equal partners in this business. But when Nick got meningitis, it just. Put everything into perspective for him. He’s like, it’s time for me to step outta she launch. It’s time for me to step even more into my music. Life is so short, life is so precious.

It is time for me to fully step [00:03:00] into his music. And for those of you that dunno, he’s an incredible musician. Oh my gosh, he’s amazing. So if you wanna check out his music, go to Spotify and type in Nick Broadhurst and follow him. And also en Obe, E-N-O-B-E is his other music project. So go and follow both of those on Spotify and I’ll link to them in the show notes as well.

And he was just like, life is so precious. Like that was super scary for him to have meningitis again for the second time. And he’s like, I need to step outta shoe launch. I need to step more into my music. I wanna be more fully present with my children. And travel and live. Like really. And we’ve built an incredible business and an incredible life, but we wanna make sure we are living our life.

Yeah. Really living our life. And so there was this deep knowing for him, it’s like this chapter is complete. And don’t get me wrong, [00:04:00] we love. She launched so much and our clients like this was incredibly hard. This was like a really big, painful decision to make, and there was a deep, deep, deep, deep knowing that it was the right move.

It was the next move for us. There were moments of fear, will I regret this? What if this is the wrong move? But here’s the truth that I always come back to if something is unfolding for me. It is happening for me, not to me. And if it is unfolding for me, then it is for me. Like I don’t fight against that.

Like if it is happening for me, like I truly believe if it’s happening to me, it is for me. It’s for my highest good. Like I just trust that so much. I haven’t always, but with all of the spiritual work that I have done, everything that happens to me, I trust that it is happening for a reason. [00:05:00] One of my favorite teachings, spiritual teachings is Kabbalah, and they teach that everything in our reality is being orchestrated for our highest transformation always.

And I just trust that I don’t resist it. I don’t fight against it. That doesn’t mean that I don’t feel fear, like at times of I do feel fear, but I also trust that or, or grief or sadness. I also trust that it is happening for me. There’s a couple of Kabbalah spiritual laws that I wanna share with you that have really helped me.

So there’s the law of the opponent, and they say that the discomfort is the doorway. The discomfort is the doorway to your next evolution. The resistance isn’t a sign to stop, it’s an invitation to transform. So I always like to remember that, that the discomfort is the doorway to the next level version of you.

The other Kabbalah concept that I love is they talk about [00:06:00] the vessel and the light. Now, if the vessel, which is you, stays the same all the time, you can only hold that same amount of light. But when the vessel expands through, letting go through trust, through transformation, through these big, bold, challenging.

Circumstances that we go through, then you are capable, you become more capable of receiving more light, more purpose, more clarity, more abundance, and I just trust that so much. So those two Kabbalah principles, the law of the opponent and the vessel and the light, like they really helped me in these times of one chapter closing and sitting in the unknown and just trusting.

So another question that I got asked a lot was, how do you know when it’s time to let go? There’s six questions that you [00:07:00] can write down and reflect on if you are sitting in that right now. Like if it’s a business opportunity, if it is a relationship, how do you know when it’s time to let go? The first one is there is always like an internal whisper.

That won’t leave you, and it might be really, really soft and you might not even hear it. You might just feel it and you’re like, O, there’s something there. There’s something there that is just like, it’s time. I dunno what it’s saying. I don’t know what the answer is. I don’t know what the next move is, but there is some sort of internal whisper, internal feeling that won’t leave you alone.

So that is. The first reflection point for you to think about if you are in this phase right now, where you’re like, is this time to let go of this business opportunity or this relationship, or whatever? It’s the second reflection point is there is a heaviness around [00:08:00] the thing that you used to feel excited about, whether that’s the business or whether that is a relationship.

It used to excite you, it used to light you up, and maybe now there’s a bit of heaviness around it. So that’s the second point. The third one is noticing if you are staying in the relationship or in the business out of safety and not alignment. Am I staying out of safety? Okay. The fourth reflection point is maybe you’ve had a realization that.

This version of me is complete, or this chapter is complete. You know this business chapter is complete, or this relationship chapter is complete. That is when you know it’s time to let go. The fifth reflection point is knowing that clinging blocks what is next? So when you are holding on with white knuckle grip to the business, or the opportunity or the relationship that actually will block what is next for you.[00:09:00]

So if you are contemplating letting something go, closing a chapter, just reminding yourself that if you hold on out of fear, out of safety, or whatever it is, that clinging will block what is next for you. And then the sixth reflection point is just trusting, deeply, trusting that if that chapter is closing, it is meant to close.

I just trust so deeply. We are held, that we are supported. I trust so deeply in that, and if it’s happening, it is for me. Those six reflection points are how I know when it’s time to let go and close a chapter. Now, a couple of questions that I wanted to address that continued to come up and one of the big ones was how do you let go of the version of you?

That built that or that identity. [00:10:00] And what I know for sure is that we are always growing, we are always evolving. This is why we are here on Earth, is to grow and to evolve. We never stay stagnant. We never stay the same. Yeah, we’re always growing and always evolving. So how do you let go of that version?

Like I thank her, I bless her. Like I truly thank her for getting me here. I write her a letter. Thank you. Thank you so much for getting me here. It’s time for this chapter to close. Thank you for getting me here, because she’s not the one who is leading the next chapter. You have evolved, you have grown, and your identity gets to evolve as well.

We are never staying the same. My friends, every day, we are an evolved version of ourselves. Every big life thing that happens to us. Businesses, friendships, relationships, birthing babies shifts [00:11:00] your identity. And I say this all the time, like I am a completely different human being since giving birth to my son completely different.

And that is so exciting. So you bless her, you thank her, she got you here, but she is not the one who’s leading the next level version of you. Like you have evolved. Your identity gets to evolve too. So that’s how I let go of the version of me that has created this or been in this relationship or whatever it is.

So you bless her, you thank her. One chapter closes and another one will open. We don’t know when. We don’t know how. We don’t know what it’s gonna look like, but it will open always. Another question is was I worried about regretting my decision and yes, that fear did come up. However, I always come back to if it is happening, it is for me.

If it is unfolding, it is for [00:12:00] me, for my growth, for my evolution. The unknown isn’t the enemy. It is the path. It is the path, my friend. Okay, so just you can’t stay in the business or the relationship just because of fear of maybe regretting it. No, I. If it is happening, it is for you. Yes. Another common question that arose is, is there a process for closing one chapter and opening another?

And yes, like first you wanna honor that closing for sure. You can journal, you can do a little ritual, you can light a candle, have some sort of little ceremony or reflection or whatever, and really just say thank you. Thank you for that. Beautiful. Time. That beautiful relationship, that beautiful business, that beautiful opportunity.

Thank you. Thank you. I am a different version of me. I have grown. I have evolved. Thank you. So honor that and then declare the opening. But don’t rush. [00:13:00] Let that space in between be sacred. Don’t rush to the next thing you know. I am open. I am open to the next thing. Dear God, creator, universe, angels, whatever you believe in, whatever you say.

I am open to the next relationship to the next business. Use me as a vehicle for good. Use me as a vehicle and don’t rush. Keep showing up every single day. Let that space in between be sacred. Keep showing up. Keep showing up. This isn’t about just sitting back and folding your arms and going, okay, I’ll wait till the next thing presents itself to me.

We keep showing up. Of course. But that space in between, it is sacred. Honor it. And something else that I do in this in-between space is pray every night, use me as a vehicle for good. Where would you have me go? What would you have me do? [00:14:00] What would you have me say, and to whom use me as a vehicle for good use me.

And you keep showing up. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and do not rush the process. Trust, trust, trust. Always come back to trust. So if you are in the in-between right now, I have six steps for you. Firstly, I want you to name it. This is not failure, it is calibration. Okay? So name it. I’m in the in-between.

Great. So are so many other people I posted on my Instagram who’s in the in-between right now, and hundreds of you said yes. Okay, so you name it. Yep, I’m in the in-between. It’s great. I’m gonna enjoy it. It is not failure. It is calibration Number two. You bless that version of you that built that last chapter and remind yourself that she served you so beautifully.

So you bless that [00:15:00] version of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Number three, you stop calling it confusion and start calling it evolution. Stop calling it confusion and start calling it evolution number four. You sit in that in-between space without rushing. This is the nervous system, safe path to your next level.

I guarantee if you rush, your nervous system will get fried. If you want a calm, nervous system, this is the nervous system safe path to allow that space to be there. Don’t try and fill it with noise. Yeah. Number five, ask yourself, what is the lesson? What is the gift or the gifts? What am I being invited to remember to release?

Everything always happens for a reason, so what is the gift? What is the gift in this closing of this chapter? Yeah. And then number six is really anchor into [00:16:00] this truth. And I want you to maybe write it down on a post-it note, stick it somewhere. If it is unfolding, it is for me, if this is unfolding in my relationship, in my business, in my health, in my motherhood journey, it is for me trust that, yes.

This is what being a self-led woman looks like being okay in that sacred in-between space. A self-led woman trusts the unknown. A self-led woman leads herself. Even in this space, a self-led woman knows that she is not broken, she is not lost, that she is simply becoming. The next level version of her. Oh, and I’m so excited for her.

I’m so excited to birth her. I’m so excited to step into her. So if you are currently in that [00:17:00] space, that sacred, beautiful, juicy space of one chapter closing and another one open, my biggest tip for you is to trust my beautiful friend. Trust. If it is unfolding, it is for you. I really hope that this landed for you today.
