.....

Let’s be honest: every entrepreneur goes through periods where they feel disconnected from their business.

It’s a common struggle that sneaks up on even the best of us, even if it’s not talked about very often.

Over my 13 years working with women entrepreneurs, I’ve seen this happen time and again — and yep, I’ve been there myself too.

It can be hard to know what to do when you’re in that headspace — Should you keep pushing forward anyway? Call it quits? Bury your head in the sand and hope things get better?!

If you relate to any of this, there’s the good news: it’s entirely possible to rekindle that spark and fall back in love with your business.

Here’s how to do it…

1. Reconnect with Your “Why”

Let’s start with the lowest hanging fruit: your “why”.

Think back to the moment you decided to start your business. What excited you? What were you passionate about?

Over time, it’s easy to lose sight of these things amidst the daily grind, but sometimes this simple reminder can be enough to get you back on track.

Action Step: Take a moment to reflect on your original motivations for starting your business. Write them down and stick them up somewhere highly visible. You might even like to create a vision board that captures those early dreams. Seeing these reminders can help your brain and body remember the passion you once had and start inching towards it again.

2. Delegate Tasks That Drain You

If you’ve been resisting delegating, NOW is the time to start.

Because sometimes that “I-can’t-stand-my-business” feeling is simply due to your day being stacked with tasks that you don’t enjoy and that aren’t your zone of genius.

And I promise you, there’s nothing more energizing than saying a satisfying “see ya!” to those tasks, so that you can get back to doing what you love and what you’re good at.

Action Step: Not sure where to start when it comes to delegation? Begin by making a list of all the tasks you handle regularly that involve an element of repetition or that can be systematized. If any of these tasks drain you, start delegating them asap! The next time you do these tasks, film your screen as you go (I use a plug-in called Loom for this, it’s free!) and narrate your actions. Ta da! You just created an evergreen resource that can now be used to train someone else to take over for you. ✨#life-changing

3. Set New Goals That Excite You

If you’ve been in business a while, there’s a good chance you’ve settled into a comfort zone where you’re no longer being challenged.

And sure, this might feel easy and safe, but it can also lead to feelings of stuckness and stagnation.

The fix for this is simple: let yourself dream big.

It sounds clichéd, but take a moment to REALLY, TRULY think about this question: What would you do in your business if you knew you couldn’t fail?

Don’t censor yourself, don’t let your inner Mean Girl tell you it’s not possible, just let yourself marinate in that divine energy of possibility and potentiality.

Action Step: When you land on a dream that you want to turn into reality, grab my insanely useful goal-setting guide and start taking action.

4. Connect with Other Entrepreneurs

Running a business can feel lonely, especially if you work alone or from home.

But connection is such a good remedy for this.

I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve felt overwhelmed or uninspired by a business project, then gotten on a call with my mastermind gals or gone out for lunch with a biz bestie, and suddenly felt completely re-energized.

It is *so* important to have others you can reach out to who understand what it’s like to be an entrepreneur and who can provide support and inspiration.

If you’ve already got a good circle around you, reach out to them. Organize a catch-up, whether it’s IRL or mocktails over Zoom.

If you don’t have a support system yet, let’s fix that. Take a look at networking events, workshops, or webinars being held in your area. If you prefer the online route, sign up for a biz-focused message board, online community or mastermind group.

And SheLaunch is always here for you too, if you want to join our gorgeous community of rockstars and legends.

5. Prioritize Self-Care

Burnout is a real issue for entrepreneurs — and if you’re always working and never taking time for yourself, it’s no wonder you might feel disconnected from your business.

If this is you, first of all, I see you and I’m sorry things feel hard right now.

Secondly, let’s put YOU back on your priority list, because you deserve to be there.

Some questions to ask yourself:

  • What would feel nourishing to me right now?
  • What can I say no to this week?
  • How can I reclaim time for myself today?
  • What is my soul craving right now?
  • How can I honor myself in this moment?

When you’re well-rested and relaxed, you’ll bring so much more energy and enthusiasm to your work.

And it might sound weird, but it’s absolutely true: sometimes it’s the time spent AWAY from your computer and phone that can be the most productive for your business.

The Bottom Line

Feeling disconnected from your business isn’t a signal to quit — it’s a call to action. It’s your chance to pause, reflect, and realign with what truly sets your heart on fire.

Remember, your business is a reflection of you. By prioritizing yourself and aligning your business with your passions and strengths, you can find that love and excitement again.

So, take a step back. Reconnect with your “why.” Make those changes. Your business deserves it. You deserve it.

You really do have the power to fall in love with your business all over again.

Let’s do this, Beautiful! ✨
