2018 Wrap Up and 2019 Set Up

I think it’s really important as 2018 comes to an end that we stop, reflect and tie a nice neat little bow around it before we dive into setting goals and manifesting our big dreams for 2019. So, that’s exactly what we are going to do this month. When goal setting it’s very easy to skip over the reflection side of things, but reflection is a super-important piece of the puzzle, because it allows us to re-align, tune in and ponder on our truth. So, before we zoom ahead to setting heart-centered goals for 2019 and manifesting for the future, it’s imperative to begin by looking behind us. It’s all too easy to want to sprint through to the end of the year without stopping and taking a moment to acknowledge the year that’s been, all that you have achieved, and all the growth that’s taken place. In fact, I’ve heard a lot of people say they can’t wait for this year to be over, or that this year was their worst year yet. Now sure, I understand you may have had a challenging year — but it’s all perfect. Everything always is! Everything is always unfolding the way it’s supposed to. So, before you write this year off as a total shit sandwich, let’s take a moment to reflect back… you may be pleasantly surprised.

April Focus Topic – Divine Relationships And How To Call In Your Soul Mate

Relationships are the biggest game we play, but most of us weren’t taught the rules. We popped out into this world, without a manual and forced to navigate our way in what can feel like the dark. Then, like everything we learn by watching or being told. Someone we loved and looked up to may have said…

‘Here are the rules; this is what you should and shouldn’t do/say; this is how you should move through life. This is what you should do for work. This is what you should believe. This is right and this is wrong; this is truth and this is not truth. We only hang out with these people here, but we don’t talk to those people over there, we don’t like those types of people. Our people don’t talk to them’.

It’s safe to say that from childhood we get conditioned. And unless you wake up, open wide and do something about it, you will play out those beliefs (that aren’t even yours) all your life. And this is not why we are here. We are here to learn, grow and evolve our human consciousness, and divine relationships (especially with your ‘one’) give you the best opportunity to do that.

This is why for the month of April we are going to dive deep into your relationships with others and yourself so that you can become bursting with love within yourself and are ready to call in your soul mate. May Focus Topic – Heal Your Gut Heal Your life

From a young age I have experienced health issues from adrenal fatigue, thyroid problems, leaky gut, candida, high levels of mercury, serious hormonal imbalances, depression, debilitating PMS, an eating disorder, SIBO, hives, candida, loads of vitamin and mineral deficiencies, adult acne and eczema all over my body. It wasn’t until I understood the importance of gut health and I began my own gut healing journey that I started to really heal and thrive. This is because the real secret to extreme health lies in your gut… yep your gut! It is now scientifically proven that there is a relationship with our gut and brain. So basically the stronger and more robust our gut the stronger and more focused our brain performers and we can truly thrive. It’s epic!

June Focus Topic – How To Find Your Passion 

How do you find your passion and purpose in life? And how do you live it? Two questions I get asked often. Firstly, I just want to make it crystal clear that your purpose and passion in life aren’t things you need to go out and find. They find you! It’s within you and always has been.

But what happens is that somewhere along your journey, someone may have told you that you can’t make money from your passion – it’s too hard, too expensive, too unrealistic – so you set it aside. You put that passion on the back of the shelf, up the very top, and let it sit there to collect dust. From there, weeks, months and years go by. In the meantime, you get a ‘normal or safe job’, which you may not exactly love, which leaves you feeling creatively depleted, uninspired and bored. I very nearly fell into that trap.

When I finished year 12, I applied to get a Bachelor of Business at the best university in Brisbane, Queensland University of Technology. I got accepted, but I applied out of fear. I applied because isn’t that what everyone does? I applied because that is what my career counsellor and teachers told me to do. But instinctively, deep down, I knew that it wasn’t the right path for me. My heart was burning to be on stage.

So I took a giant leap of faith, and at age 17, I moved to Sydney, got accepted into the best performing arts school in Australia – Brent Street – and trained my tush off. I then had an amazing career as a performer – dancing, singing, acting and presenting all over the world for 10 years. The thing is, I am way too driven and passionate to let anyone else tell me what I should and shouldn’t do, especially with something like my career.

“You can let everyone else tell you why you shouldn’t do something or you can do what’s right for you. The choice is yours.” Wayne Dyer

It’s so easy to listen to all the well-intentioned people around us telling us what to do (or what not to do) with our lives. It’s much harder to tune out the noise and just listen to your own heart. But if you don’t listen to that inner calling now – if you squash it down and do what you’re ‘supposed’ to be doing – it’s going to well up at some point in the future. One day, you’ll finally wake-up and realise that you want to – in fact, you have to – go collect that burning passion of yours, dust it off and start living it.

So why not now, beautiful? I believe that when you are living your passion and doing something you love, work is no longer work. And in this month we are going to unlock your passion and learn how live it. And if you are already living a passion-fueled life, get ready to take it to the next level.

You can let passion pump your pulse and drive your life… are you ready?

July Focus Topic – The Sacred Dance Between Masculine And Feminine

One of the most fundamental aspects or ‘rules’ of the relationship game is to understand masculine and feminine energy and the harmonious polarity between them. But with so much of our time spent not here in the present, it’s become incredibly difficult for the average person to grasp the true essence and beauty of both types of energy. The Yin and the Yang. This, in turn, exacerbates the problem, and they get stuck in the relative world thinking — telling themselves stories, succumbing to expectations, and not seeing the truth that’s right in front of them: that both masculine and feminine energies are sacred and divine.

When I refer to ‘masculine’ and ‘feminine’ energy, I am not referring to male and female. We ALL possess both energies — regardless of your gender. And every relationship possesses both energies too — sometimes one party might take on a more masculine role, sometimes the more feminine role, and it might flip backward and forwards, depending on the situation. (Again, this is nothing to do with your gender or sexuality — even within a same-sex partnership there are masculine and feminine energies.)

Understanding how to rebalance and dance between these two types of opposing-but-synchronous energies will transform so many different parts of your life — from how you show up in your work, to how you feel in the bedroom, to how you live out your relationships, to everything in between. When you truly ‘get it’, on a deep level, it feels like you’ve got the keys to the Universe in your hands. Really? Life can actually be this clear? And this fulfilling? Who knew?! So if having this kind of insight and ability sounds like your cup of tea, you are definitely in the right place!

August Focus Topic – Meditation Masterclass

When I first began my journey towards living a life bursting with love, I started from the outside in. Meaning I overhauled my diet, got rid of toxic relationships, cleared out my home environment, sorted out my finances, and ditched the career that was no longer lighting me up. (Disclaimer: This did not happen overnight; it took time. Years, actually!) After I cleared out all the clutter in those areas of my life, I felt a big sense of relief — like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders. However, I still felt kind of… empty. I still had this niggling feeling deep within me that something was missing; that something wasn’t quite right because I still didn’t actually feel bursting with love inside my own skin. It was at that point that I was introduced to yoga and meditation, which completely changed the trajectory of my journey. Instead of simply scouring the outer surfaces of my life, all of a sudden I started looking inwards. This is when the real work began. Once I sat in stillness, I was able to see all the areas of my life where I was living in fear, all the games my Mean Girl was playing with me, and all the ways she was keeping me stuck firmly in Fear Town. But I wouldn’t have seen any of that if I didn’t learn how to turn inwards and stop, drop and meditate. Starting a journey of transformation from the outside in is great, however, don’t think you can bypass or skip the inner work. All the steamed kale and green smoothies in the world won’t help you change the way you feel unless you’re also able to look within.

Recently when I asked you how I can make this Mentoring even better, a suggestion for ‘Slow September’ was made. Naturally, I loved the idea, so here it is! In a culture where so much emphasis is on the DOing and less on the BEing, I thought it was a perfect opportunity for all of us to slow down, be more mindful and extremely intentional with everything we do so that we can make everything we do a moving meditation. This month is also a great opportunity for you to catch up on the previous months where you may have missed a few things.

April Focus Topic – Boundary Bootcamp  

We all know what it feels like to have the energy sucked out of us by someone else, but setting healthy boundaries can protect you from that. We can all also relate to those people who no matter how many times you’ve clearly told them what your boundaries are, continue to overstep the ‘line’. While this could be a lack of respect, perhaps they simply need help in understanding why it’s important to have boundaries and to respect those of others. Having strong, clear boundaries allows you to be the best version of yourself possible. It allows you to share your unique gifts with the world with love (because you’ve taken care of yourself first). Having strong clear boundaries is an act of self-love. When you truly care for yourself and your loved ones (and your belongings, which are extensions of the ‘self’) you will naturally want to create a healthy set of boundaries that will not only support you, but those you love and the world at large. So this month we are getting shiny diamond clear on your boundaries so you can assert them with love and grace.

You can’t expect to talk crap about money and have it show up on your doorstep. It doesn’t work like that. So this month you are going to become super aware of your money story, what you are saying about money and then we are going to re-write your money story so that it’s in alignment with your truth so that you can step into the abundance magnet you were born to be.

August Focus Topic – How to Quit Alcohol and Live in Alignment with Your Truth

In October 2010 I ended up in hospital very unwell and unhappy. It was in that hospital bed that I realised two things… 1) That I was responsible for getting myself here, and 2) That I was the only person who could get me out. So from there, I made it my mission to get happy and healthy again. For me the lowest hanging fruit was getting my health sorted. So that’s the first thing I did. I quit alcohol and became healthy and happy. What I realised along the journey was staggering… I realised that I never actually liked drinking. I did it simply to be accepted by others. I did it because I felt it gave me confidence to walk into a room. I did it because everyone else was doing it. But when I tuned in I realised it wasn’t my truth… in fact I actually didn’t enjoy it at all and it didn’t make me feel like the best version of me. So in October 2010 I quit alcohol and haven’t had a drink since. Not one sip. And I’ve never looked back.

In life, one of the most important things for me is that I am living in alignment with my truth. This month not only are we going to look at your relationship with alcohol, we are going to make sure you are living in alignment with your truth and that you are on your true path.

September Focus Topic – Redefining Success On Your Terms + Goals Check In  

For so many years my definition of success was… to have a high paying job, a nice car, house, money, status, a cute boyfriend, designer handbags etc. It wasn’t until I hit rock bottom in 2010 and had to take a look at myself (and my life) that I realized that that wasn’t actually my truth or my true definition of success… it was someone else’s. It was something I thought I ‘should’ aspire to.

So, what did success actually look like to me on my terms? If I can put my head on my pillow at night and ask myself, have I been love today? Have I lived from my heart? Have a laughed? Have I played? Was I present? Did I do work I loved that help others? Did I move my body and meditate and spend time in nature? Did I nourish my body lovingly? If I can answer yes to these questions well then I have had a successful day.

This month we are going to do a success check in and redefine your definition of success to make sure it’s aligned to your truth. We are also going to do a goals check in to make sure you are sailing toward your goals for this year.

October Focus Topic – How To Cultivate Unconditional Self Love

Self-love is not selfish. It IS, however, the foundation in which everything grows and where we manifest our life from. For way too many years I participated in self-loathing and as a result, all the areas of my life were a mess. It wasn’t until I deeply understood the power of self-love and started to cultivate it and practice it daily that I started to live my true life and become a manifesting magnet. Self-love IS paramount for everything! So this month I am going to teach you how to cultivate unconditional self-love and give you my favorite self-love exercises.

November Focus Topic – Heal Your Relationship With Your Body

My wish for every woman on the planet is to look in the mirror and feel love and gratitude for their earth suit they have been gifted for this lifetime. But unfortunately that’s not the reality for many women. My unhealthy relationship with my body began in high school and really took hold when I was 20 and moved to Paris to dance at the Moulin Rouge. This is where many unhealthy habits and a warped relationship with my body exacerbated. It wasn’t until my health was taken away from me and I ended up in hospital that I realised I needed to appreciate, love and respect my temple I have been gifted, and thus, I began on my journey to heal my relationship with my body. It’s been a journey, but there are 4 things that have been radically supportive on my journey to falling back in love with my body and on this month’s call I am going to share them with you.
