This is definitely something I used to do, and it meant that I’d waste loads of time, attention and energy getting all riled up about things that weren’t even about me in the first place.

It took a long time, but eventually, I figured out the strategies and mindset shifts that allowed me to stop personalising every single thing that happened in my life and get a healthy dose of perspective.
